The Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) Greater Toronto hosted its Inauguration & Charity Gala on May 23rd at the Premiere Ballroom and Convention Centre with the celebration of the Asian Heritage Month.   

Apart from the many congratulatory greetings from the 3 levels of governments including Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Toronto Mayor John Tory, honorable patrons of the evening representing the multicultural mosaic of Canada include MP Joe Daniel, MPP Bas Balkissoon, Mayor of the City of Markham Frank Scarpitti, Richmond Hill Councillor Godwin Chan; Ms. Carmen Chong, Chairwoman of AREAA National from the U.S., Ms. Pat Verge, President of the Ontario Real Estate Association and John DiMichelle, CEO of the Toronto Real Estate Board.

In addition to Asian Heritage performances, line dances and pledge singing, guests enjoyed an evening of nostalgia and dancing to the musical styling of local artist and the songwriter of the “Toronto” Anthem, Andy De Campos with the Seventet band conducted by Anthony Terpstra.
